The practical application from the 1-hour program is that first-generation students need to know that they have to access resources on campus in order to cope with the challenges of college.
From an ASPIRE perspective, could we design a short intervention that would prepare our first-generation students for college? What about having first-generation college students from the high school conduct a workshop where they address what they did to succeed and what they wish they had done in high school and the first year of college. What are your thoughts?
